Concatenate Baby Names @ 8 August 2009 07:52 AM

What is a concatenate (kŏn-kăt'n-āt) baby name? A concatenate baby name is formed together by two separate names, like a chain. Example: The name Brook and Lynn would form Brooklynn.

Parents name their children in unique ways, and one way is to use the first and middle names of the child to form concatenate nicknames. Another example would be "Brook Lynn Smith". Parents may just call their child Brooklynn instead of Brook. Other examples are Billy Bob, Mary Kay, and Kari Dawn. These combination of names are easily mistaken for the first name instead of being separate, which in most cases they are.

What concatenate baby names can you think of?
