Baby Name Guide has compiled a list of the the top 100 baby names over the past 10 years. These names have been combined from two sources, our users and votes. Baby Name Guide researched through approximately 300,000 saved baby names from 37,000 users. BNG then filtered the top 100 names by including an additional 105,000 votes by our user's relatives and friends. The result is the top 100 baby names that include both female, male and unisex names.

The list includes 41 girl names, 54 boy names and 5 unisex names. Aiden (meaning... little fiery one) leads our list for boys and the girl baby name Abigail (meaning.. my father rejoices) is a close second. The list is made up of 16 different origins. Biblical baby names make up 21 of the entries. Short names include Ava, Mia and Ian. Long names include Alexander, Alexandra, MacKenzie and Elisabeth.

One noticeable observation is that common baby names like Michael and Ashley are not on the list. Michael has been a favorite baby name for over 50 years. Could this be a sign that it's on its way out. One thing is certain, parents our becoming more and more creative when choosing a name for their new baby.
